How to hide Team Assignments that ended in the past on the Planningboard
Introduction
User-based swimlanes can now be hidden when derived from Team Assignments and have no currently active assignments, but only the past ones.
This can help to focus only on currently active data and make the work with Planningboard easier.
This functionality is available and can be enabled starting with version 25.3.0

How to enable this functionality
To enable this behavior, go to Polarion Administration - Configuration Properties:
nextedy.planningboard.activeTeamAssignmentsOnly=true
Once enabled, the resources with no current Team Assignments will no longer be shown on the Planningboard.
If they had any tasks assigned to them, they would be shown under the "Not Assigned/Other" swimlane.
Tip: In case the property doesn't get applied, make any change in the Config Properies and save it again.
Required data structure
- project with configured Teams & Team Assignments;
- Planningboard with user-based swimlanes that are derived from Team Assignments;
Example
- We have a Team Assignment structure for Team Alpha, where only John and Mark currently have active Team Assignments.
Team Assignment for Robert has already ended in the past (before Today).
- On the Planningboard that shows users and Iterations for Team Alpha, by default, we see all the members of Team Alpha.
- Once we add the new property to the Config Properties and refresh the page, we no longer see the Robert Project in the swimlane list, and his tasks are moved to the 'Not Assigned/Other' swimlane.
nextedy.planningboard.activeTeamAssignmentsOnly=true
Conclusion
This way, we can have a view of the Planningboard, where you can focus on active Team Assignments only. This allows users to have a nice and clean structure of the page and schedule items easily.
