Troubleshooting: Improved Error Alert System

Modified on Fri, 30 May at 6:26 PM

Since version 25.4.2, a new approach has been introduced to improve how script errors are displayed, ensuring that admins can quickly identify and resolve issues.

How Errors Are Now Displayed and Communicated

1. Edit mode (Administrator view)

  • If a script contains an error, a footer will appear. Clicking on it opens a detailed pop-up message that clearly identifies the error location, improving upon previous behaviour.

  • Errors are also logged in the browser console and server logs for further debugging. To access the browser console, right-click on the page, select Inspect, and go to the Console tab. To get information from server logs, please contact your Polarion Administrator.

2. View mode (User view)

  • Introduced a visual indicator (triangle icon in the Gantt footer) to inform end users when configuration or data-related issues occur.
