When working on complex projects, it is often helpful to provide additional context or descriptions for column headers—without cluttering the interface. A clean and user-friendly way to achieve this is by using tooltips, which display helpful text when a user hovers over a column header.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Header tooltip
- Open Risksheet Configuration
- Select the column that needs to be changed
- Paste the following line: "headerTooltip": "additional description to show"
With this approach, you can add any description to your headers.
Group header tooltip
In case you want to add the description to the group header, use the following property:
"headerGroupTooltip": "Tooltip for potential causes"
You need to put the property in the first column for it to work. In this case, the property has to be entered in the "causes" column.
